An algorave (from an algorithm and rave) is an event where people dance to music generated from algorithms, often using live coding techniques. This concept is internationally known and would be good to introduce it to the Kenyan Landscape.

The Shirika Live Coding + Synth Agency is a collaborative project between poppingtonic, a researcher and mixed media artist who expresses healing through art, and taamuli, who tinkers with synthesizers, mostly to produce live techno. The project demonstrates ushirika to explore agency under constraints.
