Poppy Spowage

Poppy is a creative producer, researcher and consultant working between the creative industries and academia. With over fifteen years’ experience bringing together creatives and change-makers, Poppy has produced a wide range of internationally acclaimed festivals, creative programmes and artist residency projects with diverse communities in Asia, East Africa, Latin America and Europe.

In her practice and research, Poppy is driven by questions of care, connection and collaboration. She is currently working on a research project supported by a British Academy Global Innovation Fellowship, which is focused on understanding the mental health and wellbeing challenges affecting young creatives and what the sector could do more effectively moving forward.
