Moritz Kasper

As an urban scholar, Moritz focuses on the social, technological and ecological challenges and opportunities facing 21st-century cities. Usually addressing issues such as infrastructural (in)justices and socio-spatial (in)equalities, his work lies at the intersection of critical geography, science and technology studies, urban political ecology, and urban planning/design. Having worked in and on Nairobi in various capacities since 2012, Moritz has also gained first-hand experience of the city's cultural spaces and spheres, for example in his role as project officer for Goethe-Institut's TEN CITIES project (2012–2015).
