Jane Arnison

Jane Arnison is a Berlin-based Australian composer, sound artist, performer, and engineer whose practice explores sound as a spatial, social, and relational medium. Working with participatory performance, immersive installation, and emerging technologies, she creates environments in which sound is generated through collective engagement, foregrounding communal listening and shared authorship. Her work has been presented at institutions including the Collegium Hungaricum Berlin, Zwitzermaschine and Zeiss Planetarium Berlin, and she has collaborated on sound and interaction design projects shown at the Julia Stoschek Collection, Museum of Modern Art and Hamburger Bahnhof. In 2025, she developed the XR performance work Phygital Intimacy through the XR Aurora fellowship at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, presented at the Kulturforum Berlin.
