Gek0 is a vocalist, producer, visual artist, DJ, event organiser, graphic designer, director, editor and instillation artist. Though coming from a painting and visual arts background, Gek0 expanded into production and event organising. Learning music production under SEMA by Santuri East Africa in 2022. Gek0 has cultivated a unique and recognisable signature style. A style that translates seamlessly from music to visuals. Gek0's music falls under the genre Changanya. A genre coined by Kenyan musician Nabalayo. As of 2025 Gek0 has hosted two events alongside collaborator Mphilo. Curated live music and dining experiences called MAALUM.
