Amber Joy

Amber Joy, known artistically as THE NARRATOR, is a person-shaped storyteller crystallised in hybridity, illuminating the intimacies and possibilities of sensory-based storytelling across sound, sentences and stage.

They believe in teaching as a means of archiving. This vision set motion to Pigeon Publishing House, which they co-founded with poet Isaiah Hull, offering workshops that explore memory and collaborative poetry.

Beyond their solo practice, Amber Joy is the artistic director and 1/7 of life is beautiful — an independent record label and gesamtkunstwerk.
